About

Who am I?

I’m Holly, a Certified Lactation Counselor, Breastfeeding Educator, and Birth/Medical Assistant. My husband and I have been blessed with 10 children and 16 precious  grandchildren.

Over the course of 18 years in my personal breastfeeding experiences, I had to overcome many issues with little to no professional help. Breastfeeding is immensely rewarding, but there are times when the assistance and knowledge of a trained, experienced lactation counselor is essential. The challenges I had with breastfeeding help me relate to my clients and the issues they are facing.

I understand that each birth and each child is unique. My birthing experiences included medicated, natural and Cesarean births. Therefore, I have firsthand knowledge and full understanding of the different breastfeeding challenges that can come with each situation.

Continual learning enables me to go beyond the basics of my certification. I have studied in depth about oral restrictions that interfere with successful breastfeeding, such as tongue and lip ties. These oral obstructions are not always visible to the untrained eye, but can cause many breastfeeding issues as well as issues later in life if left untreated. When these issues arise, oral revisions, stretching exercises, and/or therapy to relax the facial muscles may be required. I am well equipped with training and personal experience to evaluate and refer families to the correct resources they need in such situations.

I am eager to serve you with a caring heart and am passionate to assist you with all of your breastfeeding needs. I would love to help make your breastfeeding journey a successful, joyful and rewarding experience!
